Bernadette Le Grand, Legal Practitioner Director, has over 30 years experience providing legal and governance services to the public and private sectors and Not for Profit organisations across Queensland, including appearing as solicitor advocate in courts, tribunals and Queensland Industrial Relations Commission.
In private practice and as General Counsel/Corporate Counsel in local government and State-owned entities Bernadette has worked across multiple legal areas including contracts, commercial and property law, employment law, planning and environment law, property acquisition, cultural heritage, corporate governance, administrative law and court work.
A long term advocate for plain English drafting and able to demystify legal concepts, Bernadette takes the time to listen and understand her client’s needs and consider practical solutions.
Bernadette has extensive experience on not for profit boards and management committees and providing advice and legal support for NFPs, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors
